The Izmail Seaport Council at the next meeting on Friday, May 25, 2018, updated the staff of the body. Among other issues on the agenda are the approval of a unified provision on the Port Council, the analysis of the implementation of instructions from the previous meeting of the Port Council.
The meeting participants discussed and adopted a document defining the procedure for interaction between the Izmail port administration and companies that work in the port in case of emergency or emergency situations. The captain of the seaport of Izmail, Anatoly Kolesnikov, reminded those present that the document is of particular importance, since an emergency happened recently in the port of Izmail - a mine was discovered near the Danube on the elevator.
The port council was attended by the head of the body - the head of the Izmail branch of the State Enterprise “Administration of Seaports of Ukraine” Alexander Istomin, the deputy head of the Council, the captain of the seaport Izmail Anatoly Kolesnikov, the director of the State Enterprise “Izmail MTP” Andrey Erokhin, the first deputy head of the IF State Enterprise “AMPU” Sergey Laponog, water transport manager of PJSC Ukrainian Danube Shipping Irina Remeslo, representatives of Newenergy LLC, L-Service Transit Private Enterprise, KP Dunayservice, Ville Forte Ukraine LLC, Portinvest Logistic LLC, PE “Galaxy”, LLC “Agency Triton Service Ukraine”, representatives of other companies operating in the territory of Izmail port.
Izmail seaport is located in the water area of the Kiliysk mouth of the Danube River. The number of cargo berths is 24, the length of the cargo berth front is 2,696 km. According to the AMPU registry, the only port operator is the Izmail Commercial Sea Port.
